Introduction to metric collections

Metric collections let you group related metrics together for easier discovery and collaboration. A collection acts as a curated list of metrics, for example all engagement metrics for a product launch or the key metrics owned by your team. Everyone in your organization can view collections. You can control who can edit a collection through permissions.

Add and Remove Metrics

On a metric detail page, select Add to collection in the page header. In the dialog, check the collections you want to add the metric to, or clear to remove it. Click Save to apply your changes. A single metric can belong to multiple collections. Adding a metric to a collection creates a reference, not a copy.

Filter by Collection

On the Metrics list page, open the filter bar and select a collection from the Collection filter to show only metrics that belong to that collection. The collection filter is also available in the metrics picker when adding metrics to an experiment, helping you quickly narrow down the selection.

Permissions

The collection owner and admins can manage access by selecting Permissions on the collection page.
