Learn how to connect your personal Slack account to receive notifications in Slack.

Connect your personal Slack account to receive direct notifications about mentions, replies, and review requests.

> Your organization must connect its Slack workspace first. See [Connect Your Slack Workspace](/docs/platform/notifications/integrate-slack).
> If it hasn't, ask a Confidence administrator to complete the connection.

## Connect Personal Slack

**1. Open user settings**

Open **User settings** from your profile menu, then go to **Integrations**.

**2. Connect Slack**

In the **Slack** row, select **Connect Slack** and complete the Slack sign-in flow.
After connecting, the row shows **Connected to Slack**.

## Use the Agent in Slack

This setting controls personal notification delivery. It doesn't install the app or grant access to Confidence resources.
The agent identifies you using your Slack email address and your existing Confidence workspace access.
