# Recordings

> Understand user behavior, diagnose friction, and connect recordings to flag evaluations.

## How Recordings Work

Recordings replay captured interactions as a video-like experience.

The Recording SDK captures Document Object Model (DOM) changes, clicks, inputs,
scrolls, and route changes. It sends these events to Confidence to create a recording.

Each browser tab produces a recording. Confidence can group related tab recordings
from the same browser session.
